All matter has energy. I avow all energy has consciousness. My work relates the Personal with the Universal, as a tool for contemplating consciousness and realizing its simple nature. I prefer a strong photographic presence in my images as the elements of light, texture, form and space lend themselves to translating the intangible life experiences into entities that may serve as mediums for contemplation and exploration of meditative states. By emphasizing specific processes of an art act, I explore the convergence of the vague and precise. The goal is to visually impart the stillness necessary for relating to the subtle qualities of the expansive nature of life.
